A Virtual Electric World for the Competition of the Future.
ESC World Championship
THE CHALLENGE
Introducing the world’s first competitive eScooter racing series, the challenge was to work hand-in-hand with Boombox Group across five different countries to plan and execute a full spectrum of creative solutions. These included a virtual "Cyber-Electric City" designed for live production, real-time data graphics, augmented reality, camera tracking, rendering solutions, and on-site operations during events.
eSC events are held in spectacular urban and natural settings around the globe, providing the perfect canvas for the innovative virtual proposals I developed.

THE SOLUTION
I completely conceptualized and designed a "Cyber-Electric City." Collaborating with 3D designers and Vizrt developers, we implemented Augmented Reality (AR) elements adaptable to each circuit, perfectly aligned with unique camera positions and perspectives. Additionally, virtual countdowns and neon arrows provided subtle cues for race direction, bridging the physical world with our Electric City. We continue to innovate with new AR concepts to enrich the racing experience.
Creating the "Cyber-Electric City"—a sustainable metaverse inspired by the futuristic vision of eSC’s founders—was a thrilling challenge. Featuring architectural elements, lush green parks, and a "not-so-distant future" aesthetic, this XR environment incorporates eco-friendly electric trains, cars, and scooters. Focused on real-time rendering for live productions, this virtual city acts as the core of the metaverse, hosting talent, sponsors, graphics, and audiovisual content.
